Symposium 2025 Information
The 2025 Vocabulary Symposium is set for October 4, 2025 at Kwansei Gakuin University, Osaka Umeda Campus from 10:00 am (registration opens at 9:00) to 4:30 pm, with an optional dinner party in the evening. Stay tuned for further details but the time has come to submit your proposals for poster presentations. We look forward to seeing you at the event. Fees: 3,000 JPY (JALT members) / 4,000 JPY (non-JALT members) Call for Poster Session and Paper Presentations This year, we are excited to include a call for paper presentations in addition to poster sessions. These sessions will take place in the morning and early afternoon. You can specify your preferred presentation type in the call for papers form: https://forms.gle/a6iRGx3MLmbaWxwb7 The deadline is June 30, 2025. While we recommend indicating your openness to both presentation and poster formats, the choice is yours. We are also pleased to feature an invited paper strand in the afternoon, focusing on the intersection of psychology in language learning and L2 vocabulary. We are honored to welcome Sachiko Nakamura as our discussant, and Abdullah Alamer, Paul Leeming, Quint OB, and Robert S. Murphy as our keynote and invited speakers.
